Sony Ericsson W960i….A gr8 Phone in the making.

My last post regarding this phone has had a whole lot of readers. Its one of the top ten results you get when u search for the phone’s release on google. So i decided to find out more about the phone which i feel can and will clearly defeat the iPhone in quite a few aspects.

So why do i say that phone can out do the iPhone? Here are the reasons- The Walkman piece has a a 3.2MP camera with Video and Auto Focus all features lacking in the iPhone. It also 3G another the iPhone has missed out! Its Got WiFi, a TouchScreen, Opera Browser that is almost as good as Apple’s Safari and is much less the cost of an iPhone. Now there are blogs going around stating that Apple will update its phone with a firmware release but i do NOT think Apple will do that Apple is a company that would rather come out with a new Phone than come out with a Firmware release it has done it with its iPod with its Laptop and it will surely do it with its iPhone. There is not much Chance of a new phone coming out soon from the Apple stable as the the company is now looking forward to the release of its Leopard OS.

So should one opt for a iPhone or a Walkman????

My answer would be go with the Walkman as its much more sturdier comes with both a touch screen and a Keypad. Has oodles of memory to meet all your needs besides all this is has features that the apple has yet to incorporate in its phone. Since the only great thing right now about Apple phones is its intuitive software i guess Sony is the clear winner besides Asians wont take to much of a liking to the iPhone just as it didnt to the Mac and the iPod instead going for home grown alternatives like Samsung, LG, and others like SanDisk and Sony.

So if you are buying a phone and dont want to waste your money for the Apple brand but rather have a better phone the Sony Ericsson W960i is the winner by any chance.
