Well I finally got my
Dell Inspiron 1520 and it burnt my pocket by nearly 1700 $…. but i would say its money well spent… Since it gives some great features unrivalled by most mainstream notebooks today in the 15 inch range. Except for Apple and maybe Sony no other notebook brand has brought the new “Santa Rosa” line of processors to the market on such a low price. Besides the feature rich notebook also provides for a wireless networking N upgrade for 15 $ more. I got the Expresson Brown colour which doesnt look a lot different from the Black

Well most of the promises Dell made they kept up to it… for instance the battery lasts a mind shatterring 2 hours 40 minutes when playing Medal of Honour Airborne which is highly commendable considering the fact that its a power hogger. The screen isnt the best though my earlier Sony had a better clarity with its XBRITE technology as compared to the TruLife by Dell. But then you dont always get what you want….. now for the form factor well dont expect to get the thinnest notebook its quite well built and though this makes for a strong notebook that can handle a few falls it doesnt neccesarily mean low weight… lol…. Now enuf about the Cons…. (which aint many though)Well this laptop surely will meet your needs.. its got Bluetooth, WiFi (including N) its got a sim card slot a memory card reader.. a camera media center from Dell besides the Windows player… Professional WAV player from Creative a lovely keyboard much better compared to earlier keyboards on the inspiron series besides the mouse keys are one of the most comfortable i have found much better than those on my 2000 $ sony VAIO or any HP notebook I have used. More about this Dell in my Next post including images of it.See you sooon
